So i spent an extra hour processing a second time and needing a second toner because of it. Onto the color fiasco… One of my colors didnt take due to the stylist claiming it was oxidized so the tube of color was bad. Had she taken the time to read this and converse with me about it this may have been avoided. So since i wear my hair curly almost all the time my cut doesnt work for hiw i wear my hair.

For someone without the amount of curls i have. Clearly mine didnt read it nor effectively evaluate my hair prior to my cut as i have naturally very curly, textured, biracial hair. You also fill out a form upon arrival talking about your hair and what products you use and sych so your stylist knows all about your hair. Im not sure why you would ask a client what services to add at no charge if you dont plan on preforming them. They ask you to choose up to 3 complimentary services so i did. My color is nothing like i wanted and the service i recieved was nothing like they advertise. Went to this salon saturday for a cut and balayage due to the exceptional reviews. I still think the thought of adding a vending machine, water machine or offering bottled water is a much better than what they have. I’m fine going into a salon just to get my hair done… that’s all anyone goes into a salon for right? Otherwise, the massage (while she tried) was mediocre and tea that i asked for was the same.

Too many responsibilities on a persons plate will cause mistakes and lead to unhappy customers (like Debbie M below). let the hair stylists do their job with taking care of our hair. I think the company should NOT offer any complimentary services. I was asking too many questions and feel that she was preoccupied about answering everything correctly that she didn’t really do a good job of massaging. Second time around, she did offer a massage ( 2hour job). Because of this, she didn’t have time to offer me a massage ( 4 hour job). When I initially wrote this review my hair was black (trying to go blonde) and Brittney had to do a lot of work to get it as light as I wanted it. ** UPDATE** 03÷ 14÷ 16 I did not know that your hair stylist was in charge of these complimentary services. If you are going to offer water please offer bottled water or have a vending machine so customers can buy their own. Please don’t advertise if you guys aren’t doing it! Also they offered me water or tea. Cons: They asked me to choose up to 3 complimentary services: i only chose one massage, but NEVER got one. Brittney has found a loyal customer in me. I do want to go lighter so in a couple weeks i’ll be heading back. She loves her profession and it shows in her work. She listens to what her clients want, aims to please and is very friendly and accommodating. I’m not the type but I will ask questions here and there. hair stylists are all friendly and good conversationalists.

I’ve never been one to go to a salon, so everything is pretty new to me and I’m basing my decisions on prices/products solely on one other salon I went to 3 years ago that did a horrific job on me. Prices for extra products are pricey as well, but I’m thinking it’s because of the brand they carry. The place is welcoming, but is a bit dark in the reception area, however there is lighting where it needs to be. Kasey (the owner) ensures all her customers are happy and seems family oriented. Especially with a great hair stylist at your back. I did a cut and balayage and my hair came out beautiful! It’s a bit pricey but for the work I want done, it’s worth it.
